Backlit Wall Art No. 13 is a refined illuminated wall composition composed around an intricately hand-sawn and hand-engraved metal panel executed in either brass with aged bronze finish or polished nickel silver. Entirely crafted by master artisans, the composition combines a finely detailed floral geometric centre with a surrounding crisscross herringbone-style border that frames the illuminated artwork with architectural precision and rhythm. At the centre of the composition sits a decorative medallion integrated within the ornamental geometry, reinforcing the symmetry and refinement of the piece. Mounted between protective clear glass and a concealed diffuser panel, the hand-sawn metalwork is softly illuminated from behind through integrated LED lighting, revealing the delicacy, depth, and intricacy of the handcrafted patterns within a substantial stained and varnished wooden frame.

The artwork is designed for clean and secure wall installation through an integrated concealed fixation system positioned within the reverse of the frame. The hand-sawn metal composition is mounted between protective clear glass and diffuser panels and illuminated through concealed integrated LED lighting positioned within the structure of the frame. Drivers and electrical components remain fully concealed within the body of the piece.
Due to the more compact dimensions of the artwork, the assembly is designed to be easily removable from the wall should maintenance or replacement of the internal LEDs or drivers be required. The artwork is designed to connect directly to a standard electrical point for operation.
The stained and varnished wooden frame should be lightly dusted using a soft dry cloth. Glass surfaces should be cleaned carefully using appropriate non-abrasive glass-cleaning products applied to a soft cloth rather than sprayed directly onto the artwork.
The illuminated metalwork remains protected behind clear glass and therefore requires no direct maintenance. Abrasive cleaning products, excessive moisture, or aggressive materials should be avoided. Due to the entirely handmade nature of the work, subtle artisanal irregularities, variations, and traces of hand craftsmanship form an intentional part of the character and authenticity of each piece.
