Console Table N°2
Ref: F-CT-002
Console Table No. 2 is a highly restrained architectural console defined by its elegant proportions, sculptural material contrast, and refined minimalist construction. The composition is formed from four slender pyramidal tapered steel legs connected by a minimal linear steel framework supporting a raised sculptural top. The tabletop is constructed from wood entirely clad in either brass with aged bronze finish or polished nickel silver, whose surfaces are hand-hammered in a richly textured galuchat-inspired finish that introduces depth, rhythm, and tactile richness to the otherwise minimal form. Raised above the steel structure, the sculptural top allows the hammered metal sides to remain fully visible, reinforcing the lightness and architectural precision of the composition. The balance between slender steel geometry and richly textured handcrafted metalwork creates a console that feels simultaneously contemporary, sculptural, and timeless.
Steel Legs & Frame - Treated & Painted with Hammered Top in either Brass, Aged Bronze Finish or Nickel Silver, Polished Finish.
1100 x 400 x 800 (h) mm
The console table is constructed as a fully assembled sculptural furniture piece incorporating a slender architectural steel structure together with a raised handcrafted metal-clad tabletop. The pyramidal tapered steel legs and minimal linear framework are designed to preserve the visual lightness and structural precision of the composition while allowing the sculptural hammered metal surfaces to remain fully visible from all sides. The handcrafted galuchat-inspired hammered finish is executed directly onto the metal-clad wooden structure to reinforce the tactile architectural character of the piece.
The hammered brass or polished nickel silver surfaces should be lightly dusted using a soft dry cloth or microfibre cloth. Abrasive products, excessive moisture, or aggressive cleaning materials should be avoided in order to preserve the integrity of the metal finish and protective treatments.
The slender steel structure should similarly be maintained using a dry soft cloth without abrasive materials. Due to the entirely handmade nature of the work, subtle artisanal irregularities, variations, and traces of hand craftsmanship form an intentional part of the character and authenticity of each piece.
