Private Estate - M.E.
Marrakech, Morocco ( 2014 - 2022 )
Set within an eight-hectare private estate in Marrakech, this exceptional villa is framed by vast landscaped gardens adorned with sculptures by international artists and panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains. Conceived as a contemporary architectural statement, the property blends modern refinement with a strong connection to the surrounding landscape, creating a residence that is both expansive and deeply rooted in its natural environment.
Working in dialogue with the client’s architectural vision, Yahya’s intervention focused on integrating light, form, and craftsmanship into the spatial language of the villa. Rather than imposing objects onto the architecture, each element was conceived to exist in harmony with the structure and landscape, allowing artworks, lighting installations, and architectural elements to emerge as natural extensions of the space.
Across the estate, bespoke creations were developed for both interior and exterior environments, including monumental pergolas, sculptural garden elements, site-specific lighting installations, and handcrafted furniture and artworks. These interventions blur the boundaries between inside and outside living, transforming the property into a unified artistic environment where architecture, art, and landscape operate as a single, coherent composition.
