The Three Cosmic Rings Chandelier is a sculptural architectural lighting design composed of three illuminated rings suspended in a floating celestial composition. Arranged at different heights and diameters, the rings appear to hover effortlessly beneath the ceiling, creating a refined interplay of geometry, light, and space. Unlike the larger Cosmic Rings installations, the decorative detailing is integrated within both the inner and outer faces of each ring, where Yahya's signature hand-sawn and hand-engraved floral metalwork is illuminated from within. This creates a continuous luminous halo that reveals the intricacy of the craftsmanship whilst maintaining a clean architectural profile. The Three Cosmic Rings Chandelier is composed of three independently suspended illuminated rings fixed to a concealed structural ceiling framework engineered specifically for each installation. Prior to installation, a dedicated ceiling support structure is integrated within the ceiling construction. Ultra-fine suspension cables descend through the finished ceiling surface, allowing the rings to appear suspended in space without visible structural supports. Following installation, the ceiling is refinished to conceal all suspension hardware and support systems.
Each ring incorporates an integrated LED lighting system concealed entirely within the ring structure. Yahya's signature hand-sawn and hand-engraved floral metalwork is incorporated on both the inner and outer faces of the rings, creating a continuous illuminated decorative surface visible from multiple viewpoints. The lighting system is engineered to distribute illumination evenly throughout the decorative detailing whilst maintaining visual comfort and preventing direct glare.
The composition may be manufactured in a wide range of diameters, widths, and configurations according to project requirements. Whilst originally conceived as a three-ring composition, the design may be expanded to incorporate additional rings where required. Ring dimensions, spacing, suspension heights, finishes, and overall composition may all be customised. Detailed installation drawings specifying suspension points, cable lengths, ring positioning, and electrical requirements are supplied with each project. Due to the specialist nature of the installation, assembly should be carried out by qualified professionals following Yahya installation documentation. Installation supervision or complete installation services may be provided by Yahya where required, including international projects.
The metal surfaces should be lightly dusted using a soft dry cloth or microfibre cloth. Abrasive products, aggressive cleaning materials, and excessive moisture should be avoided in order to preserve the integrity of the finish and decorative detailing.
The hand-sawn floral metalwork should be inspected periodically and gently cleaned using a soft brush, compressed air, or a soft microfibre cloth to prevent the accumulation of dust within the decorative openings. Care should be taken not to apply excessive pressure to the suspended rings, electrical cables, or structural suspension system during maintenance operations.
Our brass, nickel silver, stainless steel, and specialist architectural metal finishes are protected using finishing systems appropriate to each material and project environment. Exterior versions may be specified with UV-resistant protective coatings and IP67-rated electrical systems where required. All electrical servicing should be carried out by qualified personnel. Subtle variations and traces of hand craftsmanship form an intentional part of the character and authenticity of each piece.
