Decorative Wall Art N°13

Ref: WD-DWA-013

Decorative Wall Art No. 13 is a sculptural mirror artwork composed around a central eight-pointed geometric composition intricately hand-sawn by Yahya’s master jewellers in either brass with aged bronze finish or polished nickel silver, before being individually engraved with floral ornamentation and decorative detailing by hand. Mounted directly onto a mirrored surface and protected beneath a layer of clear glass, the geometric metalwork creates depth, reflection, and a subtle interplay between transparency and reflected light. The composition is enclosed within a substantial architectural bronze frame featuring softly curved milled contours and sculptural profiling, reinforcing the refined balance between geometry, ornamentation, and material richness throughout the piece.

Brass, Aged Bronze Finish.

Nickel Silver, Polished Finish.

950 x 33 x 950 (h) mm

The artwork is composed of a mirrored backing surface onto which the hand-sawn metal composition is mounted and protected beneath a layer of clear glass. The complete assembly is housed within a sculptural architectural bronze frame designed to preserve the alignment and stability of the layered composition while allowing clean and secure wall installation through an integrated concealed fixation system positioned on the reverse of the piece.

Our brass pieces are hand-finished and aged to a rich bronze patination, then protected using a durable satin interior varnish designed to preserve the finish while maintaining the natural depth and warmth of the metal. For regular care, pieces should simply be dusted using a soft dry cloth without water or abrasive cleaning products. Over time, as with all living materials, the finish may naturally deepen and evolve in tone, developing an increasingly antique character that forms part of the beauty of aged bronze and brass.

Polished nickel silver is not an electroplated finish but a solid material that may naturally soften slightly over time through handling and exposure. As with traditional silver objects, the surface may be restored using standard silver polishes widely available in hardware stores, or through traditional methods such as gentle lemon-based cleaning. Microfibre cloths are recommended for routine care, while abrasive materials and scratching should be avoided. Mirror and glass surfaces should be cleaned carefully using appropriate non-abrasive glass-cleaning products applied to a soft cloth rather than sprayed directly onto the artwork. Due to the entirely handmade nature of the work, subtle artisanal irregularities, variations, and traces of hand craftsmanship form an intentional part of the character and authenticity of each piece.
