Decorative Wall Art N°26
Ref: WD-DWA-026
Decorative Wall Art No. 26 is a sculptural wall composition composed around a single elongated engraved metal panel mounted within a refined architectural wooden structure. Executed in either brass with aged bronze finish or polished nickel silver, the continuous rectangular metal surface is entirely hand-engraved by master artisans with intricate floral motifs and decorative medallion compositions inspired by traditional ornamental design. The engraved patterns extend seamlessly across the front surface and wrap continuously around the sides, upper, and lower edges of the panel, creating the impression of a solid sculptural engraved metal block with depth and material presence. Mounted within a stained and varnished architectural wooden frame, the composition emphasises continuity, symmetry, and sculptural simplicity while allowing the engraved metalwork to read as a unified decorative relief across the entire piece.
Hand-engraved brass with aged bronze finish or polished nickel silver, mounted within a stained and varnished wooden frame.
380 x 70 x 1350 (h) mm
The artwork is supplied with an integrated concealed wall fixation system positioned on the reverse of the piece, allowing it to be mounted cleanly and securely against the wall. The concealed mounting brackets are designed to preserve the purity of the framed composition while ensuring straightforward installation.
The engraved metal surface should be lightly dusted using a soft dry cloth. Abrasive products, chemical cleaners, excessive moisture, or aggressive polishing products should be avoided in order to preserve the integrity of the engraved surface, patinated finishes, and protective varnishes. Due to the handcrafted nature of the engraving, patination, and finishing processes, subtle variations in tone, texture, and surface detailing may naturally occur and form part of the artisanal character of the piece.
For polished nickel silver finishes, the metal may occasionally be cleaned using gentle silver-care methods if required. Any cleaning should be carried out carefully using soft non-abrasive materials in order to preserve the clarity and refinement of the polished surface. The wooden structure and frame should similarly be maintained using only a soft dry cloth and protected from excessive humidity, direct heat sources, or prolonged direct sunlight.
