Mirror N°7
Ref: WD-M-007
Mirror No. 7 is a monumental architectural mirror composition defined by its richly sculptural moulded wooden frame and integrated illuminated metalwork. The substantial stained and varnished wooden structure features deeply profiled curved contours that frame the central mirrored surface with strong architectural presence and material warmth. Integrated within the mirror composition is a recessed illuminated section composed of intricately hand-sawn floral metalwork executed in either brass with aged bronze finish or polished nickel silver. Unlike traditional relief-mounted metalwork, the hand-sawn composition is backlit from behind through a concealed diffuser and integrated LED lighting system, allowing the floral patterns to glow softly with depth and atmospheric illumination. The contrast between the sculptural wooden moulding, reflective mirror surface, and illuminated handcrafted metalwork creates a refined balance between decorative craftsmanship and architectural lighting.
Brass, Aged Bronze Finish.

The mirror is designed for clean and secure wall installation through an integrated concealed fixation system positioned within the reverse of the frame. The illuminated hand-sawn metalwork section is backlit through concealed LED strip lighting and diffuser panels integrated within the structure of the frame, with drivers and electrical components fully concealed behind the assembly. The mirror is designed to connect directly to a standard electrical point for operation. The construction of the piece also allows straightforward access to the mirrored surface from behind, enabling the mirror itself to be removed and replaced if required.
The stained and varnished wooden frame should be lightly dusted using a soft dry cloth. Abrasive products, excessive moisture, or aggressive cleaning products should be avoided in order to preserve the integrity of the wood finish and protective varnishes. Mirror surfaces should be cleaned carefully using appropriate non-abrasive glass-cleaning products applied to a soft cloth rather than sprayed directly onto the artwork.
The illuminated hand-sawn brass or nickel silver section is protected behind clear plexiglass, allowing straightforward maintenance using a soft microfibre cloth. Our brass pieces are hand-finished and aged to a rich bronze patination, then protected using a durable satin interior varnish designed to preserve the finish while maintaining the natural depth and warmth of the metal. Polished nickel silver is not an electroplated finish but a solid material that may naturally soften slightly over time through handling and exposure.
