Occasional Table No. 6 is a sculptural multi-purpose table combining the refinement of hand-engraved marble with the fluidity and lightness of contemporary architectural steelwork. Designed at dining-table height, the composition is structured around six elegantly curved steel supports whose flowing geometry creates a remarkable sense of movement and sculptural balance. Resting above the sculptural base is a circular marble top entirely hand-engraved with intricate floral ornamentation executed in Yahya’s signature decorative language, transforming the stone surface into a richly textured sculptural composition. The contrast between the softness of the engraved marble and the restrained fluidity of the steel structure creates a table that feels simultaneously contemporary, architectural, and timeless, equally suited for interior or exterior use.

The table incorporates a painted and treated architectural steel structure formed from six sculptural curved support elements designed to preserve both structural stability and visual lightness. The circular engraved marble top is removable for transport, installation, and maintenance purposes. Designed at dining-table height, the composition may function as an occasional table, centre table, or intimate dining table suitable for both interior and covered exterior environments.
The painted steel structure should be lightly dusted using a soft dry cloth or microfibre cloth. Abrasive products, excessive moisture, or aggressive cleaning materials should be avoided in order to preserve the integrity of the painted finish and protective treatments.
The engraved marble surface should be cleaned using a soft cloth and appropriate stone-safe cleaning products. Acidic substances, harsh chemicals, and abrasive materials should be avoided in order to preserve the natural finish and engraved detailing of the stone. Due to the entirely handmade nature of the engraved work, subtle artisanal irregularities, variations, and traces of hand craftsmanship form an intentional part of the character and authenticity of each piece.
