Occassional Table N°4

Ref: F-OT-004

Occasional Table No. 4 is a sculptural architectural side table defined by its strong geometric proportions, refined handcrafted detailing, and monolithic material presence. The composition is formed from a square wooden structure entirely clad in either brass with aged bronze finish or polished nickel silver, whose surfaces are intricately hand-engraved with continuous floral ornamentation extending across the tabletop, side panels, and all visible faces of the legs. Framing the engraved surfaces are refined smooth brass corner profiles that run continuously along the edges of the composition, reinforcing the architectural geometry and visual precision of the piece while contrasting with the richness of the engraved detailing. The balance between sculptural simplicity, continuous handcrafted ornamentation, and restrained architectural framing creates a side table that feels simultaneously contemporary, monumental, and timeless.

Brass, Aged Bronze Finish.

Nickel Silver, Polished Finish.

700 x 700 x 1050 (h) mm

The table is constructed as a fully assembled sculptural furniture piece formed from a rigid architectural wooden structure entirely clad in handcrafted engraved metalwork executed in either brass with aged bronze finish or polished nickel silver. The engraved ornamentation extends continuously across all visible surfaces of the composition, while smooth brass corner profiles reinforce the structural edges and preserve the clean geometric purity of the piece. The integrated monolithic construction emphasizes sculptural continuity, structural stability, and architectural precision throughout the design.

The engraved brass with aged bronze finish or polished nickel silver surfaces should be lightly dusted using a soft dry cloth or microfibre cloth. Abrasive products, excessive moisture, or aggressive cleaning materials should be avoided in order to preserve the integrity of the engraved metal finish and protective treatments.

Our brass pieces are hand-finished and aged to a rich bronze patination, then protected using a durable satin interior varnish designed to preserve the finish while maintaining the natural depth and warmth of the metal. Polished nickel silver is not an electroplated finish but a solid material that may naturally soften slightly over time through handling and exposure. Due to the entirely handmade nature of the work, subtle artisanal irregularities, variations, and traces of hand craftsmanship form an intentional part of the character and authenticity of each piece.
