The Dome Medallion Pendant is a refined architectural lighting design that celebrates the relationship between form, craftsmanship, and ornament. Entirely hand-sawn and hand-engraved with Yahya's signature floral motifs, the composition is formed from a large sculptural dome suspended above a decorative medallion, creating a striking and elegant silhouette. A concealed central section separates the two elements, allowing the pendant to appear light and balanced whilst concealing the internal lighting components. From below, the pendant reveals the full beauty of the medallion, transforming the underside into a decorative focal point in its own right. Illuminated from within, the hand-sawn metalwork projects intricate patterns of light and shadow across surrounding surfaces, whilst the medallion creates a richly detailed visual experience when viewed from beneath. Timeless, elegant, and highly decorative, the Dome Medallion Pendant is one of Yahya's most architectural interpretations of traditional craftsmanship.

The pendant is suspended from a structural ceiling fixation plate concealed behind a decorative ceiling canopy. The electrical connections and drivers are housed within the canopy, allowing convenient access for maintenance whilst remaining completely hidden from view.
The composition incorporates a large hand-sawn and hand-engraved dome positioned above a decorative medallion, connected through a concealed central architectural section that houses the lighting components. Access to the lighting system is provided through a concealed twist-lock fixing system integrated within the upper decorative section, allowing straightforward maintenance and lamp replacement.
The lighting system incorporates concealed illumination positioned within the central body, allowing light to radiate through the hand-sawn floral metalwork and project decorative patterns onto surrounding architectural surfaces. The Dome Medallion Pendant is available in multiple standard sizes, with bespoke dimensions available upon request. Exterior versions may also be specified with IP67-rated electrical components and specialist UV-resistant protective coating systems where required.
The brass with aged bronze finish or polished nickel silver surfaces should be lightly dusted using a soft dry cloth or microfibre cloth. Abrasive products, aggressive cleaning materials, and excessive moisture should be avoided in order to preserve the integrity of the finish.
Our brass pieces are hand-finished, aged to a rich bronze patination, and protected with a durable lacquer system. Interior versions utilise a specialist interior lacquer, whilst exterior versions receive a UV-resistant protective coating developed specifically for outdoor environments.
Polished nickel silver is a solid material rather than a plated finish and may naturally soften slightly over time. Where required, it may be maintained using a quality silver polish or traditional lemon-based cleaning methods, followed by careful rinsing and drying. Due to the entirely handmade nature of the work, subtle variations and traces of hand craftsmanship form an intentional part of the character and authenticity of the piece.
