The Liquid Light Globe Pendant is one of the defining designs of the Yahya Heritage Collection, combining perfect spherical geometry with a contemporary language of light. The spherical body is composed of eight carefully crafted sections that are seamlessly welded together to create the impression of a single continuous globe. Eight floating Fibonacci medallions are integrated within the composition, creating rhythm, balance, and visual depth throughout the structure. Above the globe, a sculptural domed hat transitions elegantly into the suspension chain and decorative ceiling plate, while the spherical body is distinguished by Yahya's signature Liquid Light pattern. Thousands of precisely executed micro-perforations transform the metal surface into a luminous veil, allowing light to emerge as a constellation of points that animate both the pendant and the surrounding architecture. Illuminated from within by a concealed light source, the Globe Pendant projects intricate patterns of light and shadow through its perforated surface, transforming the sphere into a sculptural object of both light and craftsmanship. Timeless, elegant, and instantly recognisable, it remains one of Yahya's most admired and enduring lighting creations.

The pendant is suspended from a structural ceiling fixation plate concealed behind a decorative ceiling canopy. The electrical connections and drivers are housed within the canopy, allowing convenient access for maintenance whilst remaining completely hidden from view.
The spherical body is composed of eight hand-perforated sections that are carefully welded together and finished seamlessly to create the impression of a single continuous globe. Eight floating Fibonacci medallions are integrated within the composition, creating rhythm and visual depth throughout the structure. The light source is accessed from the upper domed hat section, which can be released through a concealed twist-lock fixing system, allowing straightforward lamp replacement and maintenance without dismantling the perforated globe itself.
The Liquid Light Globe Pendant is available in five standard sizes, ranging from intimate residential scales to large architectural statement pieces. Larger bespoke versions may also be commissioned upon request. Whilst designed primarily for interior use, exterior versions can also be specified with IP67-rated electrical components and a specialist UV-resistant protective coating system developed for long-term outdoor durability.
The brass with aged bronze finish or polished nickel silver surfaces should be lightly dusted using a soft dry cloth or microfibre cloth. Abrasive products, aggressive cleaning materials, and excessive moisture should be avoided in order to preserve the integrity of the finish.
Our brass pieces are hand-finished, aged to a rich bronze patination, and protected with a durable lacquer system. Interior versions utilise a specialist interior lacquer, whilst exterior versions receive a UV-resistant protective coating developed specifically for outdoor environments.
Polished nickel silver is a solid material rather than a plated finish and may naturally soften slightly over time. Where required, it may be maintained using a quality silver polish or traditional lemon-based cleaning methods, followed by careful rinsing and drying. Due to the entirely handmade nature of the work, subtle variations and traces of hand craftsmanship form an intentional part of the character and authenticity of the piece.
