The Orion Chandelier was originally designed for the illumination of a historic billiard table reputed to have belonged to Napoleon, reinterpreting the traditional billiard-table light through a distinctly contemporary architectural language. The composition is formed from three suspended pyramid pendants arranged along a linear structure and connected through an exposed geometric framework that becomes an integral part of the design. Each shade incorporates hand-crafted metalwork and an integrated diffuser, directing a comfortable and balanced pool of light onto the surface below whilst maintaining a clean and refined silhouette. Architectural rather than decorative, the design celebrates proportion, structure, and craftsmanship, resulting in a lighting piece that is both functional and sculptural. Elegant, timeless, and highly versatile, the Orion Chandelier is equally suited to billiard rooms, dining tables, kitchens, hospitality environments, and contemporary residential interiors.

The chandelier is suspended from a structural ceiling fixation plate concealed within a decorative ceiling canopy. The electrical connections, transformers, and drivers are housed within the upper structure, allowing convenient access for maintenance whilst remaining completely hidden from view.
The composition incorporates three pyramid-shaped pendant shades mounted onto a rigid geometric framework. Each shade is fabricated as an independent element and is secured to the structure through concealed mechanical fixings, allowing installation, transport, and maintenance whilst preserving the integrity of the overall design. Integrated diffusers positioned within each shade conceal the light sources and ensure comfortable, glare-free illumination.
The lighting system is designed to provide balanced task lighting directed onto the surface below. Each of the three pendants incorporates an independent illumination source positioned to maximise functional light output whilst maintaining visual comfort. The Orion Chandelier is supplied as a complete assembled composition, with the shades mounted during installation. Bespoke dimensions and configurations are available upon request. Exterior versions may also be specified with IP67-rated electrical components and specialist UV-resistant protective coating systems where required.
The brass with aged bronze finish or polished nickel silver surfaces should be lightly dusted using a soft dry cloth or microfibre cloth. Abrasive products, aggressive cleaning materials, and excessive moisture should be avoided in order to preserve the integrity of the finish.
The internal diffusers should be cleaned periodically using a soft lint-free cloth and a suitable non-abrasive cleaner appropriate to the diffuser material. Care should be taken not to apply excessive pressure during cleaning or maintenance operations.
Our brass pieces are hand-finished, aged to a rich bronze patination, and protected with a durable lacquer system. Interior versions utilise a specialist interior lacquer, whilst exterior versions receive a UV-resistant protective coating developed specifically for outdoor environments. Polished nickel silver may be maintained using a quality silver polish or traditional lemon-based cleaning methods where required. Subtle variations and traces of hand craftsmanship form an intentional part of the character and authenticity of each piece.
