Occasional Table No. 2 is a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic Moroccan tea table traditionally associated with folding cross-scissor leg constructions. Reimagined through a more restrained and architectural language, the composition is structured around four slender pyramidal tapered steel legs supporting a large circular hand-engraved metal tray together with a secondary lower tray positioned beneath. Executed in either brass with aged bronze finish or polished nickel silver, the trays are intricately engraved with refined ornamental compositions that contrast with the purity and lightness of the surrounding steel structure. The balance between circular geometry, delicate handcrafted engraving, and minimalist architectural construction creates a piece that feels simultaneously rooted in Moroccan tradition and entirely contemporary in spirit.

The table is constructed as a fully assembled sculptural furniture piece incorporating a slender architectural steel structure together with removable upper and lower engraved metal trays executed in either brass with aged bronze finish or polished nickel silver. The trays are supplied separately within the packaging for protection during transport and may be easily removed for cleaning or maintenance purposes. Unlike traditional folding tea tables, the architectural steel structure is fixed and non-foldable in order to preserve the structural rigidity and sculptural precision of the composition.
The engraved brass with aged bronze finish or polished nickel silver trays should be lightly dusted using a soft dry cloth or microfibre cloth. Abrasive products, excessive moisture, or aggressive cleaning materials should be avoided in order to preserve the integrity of the engraved metal finish and protective treatments.
The painted steel structure should similarly be maintained using a dry soft cloth without abrasive materials. Due to the entirely handmade nature of the work, subtle artisanal irregularities, variations, and traces of hand craftsmanship form an intentional part of the character and authenticity of each piece.
