The Amphora Pendant is a sculptural lighting piece inspired by the elegant proportions of ancient amphora vessels, reinterpreted through Yahya's distinctive language of light and craftsmanship. Entirely hand-sawn and hand-engraved with Yahya's signature floral motifs, the pendant is formed as a continuous sculptural body that gently tapers towards a refined neck and culminates in a delicate Fibonacci medallion at its base. Suspended from a slender chain and decorative ceiling plate, the amphora form combines softness, balance, and visual refinement. Illuminated from within by a concealed uplight positioned at the base, the pendant projects intricate floral patterns across surrounding surfaces whilst allowing the sculptural form itself to glow with warmth and depth. Timeless, elegant, and highly decorative, the Amphora Pendant is one of Yahya's most graceful interpretations of architectural lighting.

The pendant is suspended from a structural ceiling fixation plate concealed behind a decorative ceiling canopy. The electrical connections and drivers are housed within the canopy, allowing convenient access for maintenance whilst remaining completely hidden from view.
The body is entirely hand-sawn and hand-engraved with Yahya's signature floral motifs and incorporates a refined upper cap, suspension chain, and decorative lower Fibonacci medallion. Access to the lighting system is provided through a concealed twist-lock fixing system integrated within the upper section, allowing straightforward maintenance and lamp replacement.
The lighting system incorporates a concealed uplight positioned within the lower section of the pendant. This light source illuminates the hand-sawn metalwork from within, projecting decorative floral patterns onto surrounding architectural surfaces whilst enhancing the sculptural presence of the pendant itself. The Amphora Pendant is available in multiple standard sizes, with bespoke dimensions available upon request. Exterior versions may also be specified with IP67-rated electrical components and specialist UV-resistant protective coating systems where required.
The brass with aged bronze finish or polished nickel silver surfaces should be lightly dusted using a soft dry cloth or microfibre cloth. Abrasive products, aggressive cleaning materials, and excessive moisture should be avoided in order to preserve the integrity of the finish.
Our brass pieces are hand-finished, aged to a rich bronze patination, and protected with a durable lacquer system. Interior versions utilise a specialist interior lacquer, whilst exterior versions receive a UV-resistant protective coating developed specifically for outdoor environments.
Polished nickel silver is a solid material rather than a plated finish and may naturally soften slightly over time. Where required, it may be maintained using a quality silver polish or traditional lemon-based cleaning methods, followed by careful rinsing and drying. Due to the entirely handmade nature of the work, subtle variations and traces of hand craftsmanship form an intentional part of the character and authenticity of the piece.
