The Frosted Crystal Moorish Pendant is a contemporary reinterpretation of the great lanterns of the Moorish and Andalusian traditions, combining softly diffused light, intricate metalwork, and architectural elegance. Entirely hand-sawn and hand-engraved with Yahya's signature floral motifs, the pendant is composed of a central faceted body framed by frosted crystal or frosted glass panels that gently diffuse the light source and create a soft luminous glow. Above and below, sculptural teardrop domes in hand-sawn metalwork provide elegant transitions that complete the vertical composition. Illuminated from within, the frosted glass produces a calm, ambient light whilst the intricate floral metalwork projects rich patterns of light and shadow onto surrounding surfaces. Refined, timeless, and highly architectural, the Frosted glass Moorish Pendant combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary luxury lighting in a sculptural form of exceptional elegance.

The pendant is suspended from a structural ceiling fixation plate concealed behind a decorative ceiling canopy. The electrical connections and drivers are housed within the canopy, allowing convenient access for maintenance whilst remaining completely hidden from view.
The composition combines hand-sawn and hand-engraved upper and lower metal sections with a central faceted body incorporating frosted crystal or frosted glass panels mounted within a concealed structural framework. Access to the lighting system is provided through concealed twist-lock fixing systems integrated within the decorative upper and lower sections, allowing straightforward maintenance and lamp replacement.
The lighting system illuminates both the frosted crystal body and the surrounding hand-sawn metalwork, creating a balance between softly diffused ambient light and decorative shadow projection. The Frosted Crystal Moorish Pendant is available in multiple standard sizes, with bespoke dimensions available upon request. Exterior versions may also be specified with IP67-rated electrical components and specialist UV-resistant protective coating systems where required.
The brass with aged bronze finish or polished nickel silver surfaces should be lightly dusted using a soft dry cloth or microfibre cloth. Abrasive products, aggressive cleaning materials, and excessive moisture should be avoided in order to preserve the integrity of the finish.
The frosted glass panels should be cleaned periodically using a soft lint-free cloth and a suitable non-abrasive glass cleaner. Care should be taken to avoid contact between aggressive cleaning products and adjacent metal finishes. To preserve the frosted appearance, abrasive pads or polishing compounds should never be used on the glass surfaces.
Our brass pieces are hand-finished, aged to a rich bronze patination, and protected with a durable lacquer system. Interior versions utilise a specialist interior lacquer, whilst exterior versions receive a UV-resistant protective coating developed specifically for outdoor environments. Polished nickel silver may be maintained using a quality silver polish or traditional lemon-based cleaning methods where required. Subtle variations and traces of hand craftsmanship form an intentional part of the character and authenticity of each piece.
