The Etched Glass Twin Dome Pendant is one of the most sophisticated evolutions of Yahya's signature Twin Dome collection, combining hand-sawn metalwork, etched crystal, and architectural lighting within a single sculptural composition. Entirely hand-sawn and hand-engraved with Yahya's signature floral motifs, the upper and lower domes frame a central etched crystal body that introduces transparency, lightness, and a contemporary interpretation of traditional craftsmanship. The crystal section is etched with floral motifs and illuminated internally through concealed edge-lighting technology, causing the patterns to glow from within the glass itself. Illuminated simultaneously through multiple lighting systems, the pendant projects intricate patterns of light and shadow whilst transforming the etched crystal into a luminous decorative element. Elegant, refined, and highly architectural, the Etched Glass Twin Dome Pendant combines craftsmanship, technology, and atmosphere in one of Yahya's most distinctive lighting creations.

The pendant is suspended from a structural ceiling fixation plate concealed behind a decorative ceiling canopy. The electrical connections and drivers are housed within the canopy, allowing convenient access for maintenance whilst remaining completely hidden from view.
The composition incorporates hand-sawn and hand-engraved upper and lower domes connected by a central body formed from precision-cut etched crystal. The crystal section is decorated with etched floral motifs and illuminated through concealed edge-lighting systems integrated within the supporting structure, allowing the patterns to glow from within the glass itself. Access to the lighting systems is provided through concealed twist-lock fixing systems integrated within the decorative upper and lower sections, allowing straightforward maintenance and lamp replacement.
The lighting system incorporates three independent light sources. The first illuminates the upper dome internally, projecting decorative floral patterns onto surrounding architectural surfaces. The second illuminates the lower dome, creating matching decorative projection beneath the pendant. The third illuminates the etched crystal section through concealed edge-lighting technology, transforming the floral motifs into a luminous decorative feature. The Etched Glass Twin Dome Pendant is available in multiple standard sizes, with bespoke dimensions available upon request. Exterior versions may also be specified with IP67-rated electrical components and specialist UV-resistant protective coating systems where required.
The brass with aged bronze finish or polished nickel silver surfaces should be lightly dusted using a soft dry cloth or microfibre cloth. Abrasive products, aggressive cleaning materials, and excessive moisture should be avoided in order to preserve the integrity of the finish.
The etched crystal section should be cleaned periodically using a soft lint-free cloth and a suitable non-abrasive glass cleaner. Care should be taken to avoid contact between aggressive cleaning products and adjacent metal finishes. Abrasive pads, polishing compounds, or products that may alter the etched surface should never be used on the crystal.
Our brass pieces are hand-finished, aged to a rich bronze patination, and protected with a durable lacquer system. Interior versions utilise a specialist interior lacquer, whilst exterior versions receive a UV-resistant protective coating developed specifically for outdoor environments. Polished nickel silver may be maintained using a quality silver polish or traditional lemon-based cleaning methods where required. Subtle variations and traces of hand craftsmanship form an intentional part of the character and authenticity of each piece.
